RABBITMQ ↔ CONNECTOR RUNTIME ↔ IBM MQ Planned integration direction
Product direction
RabbitMQ first. IBM MQ to begin.
The first connector family is defined around IBM MQ, with Community and Enterprise directions. These describe intended products; connector releases are still pending.
01 / Community direction
IBM MQ over AMQP 1.0
A free, open-source connector is planned around IBM MQ’s AMQP 1.0 interface and the shared runtime.
Planned. Exact licence, supported versions and delivery contracts remain to be established.
02 / Enterprise direction
IBM MQ through native MQI
A proprietary commercial adapter is planned for native MQI integration. Feasibility and the feature set need validation.
Planned. Packaging, pricing, support and availability remain open.
Current status / 16 October 2026
A defined direction. Release evidence comes next.
Strategy defined
Platform and first connector family
The approved direction combines a shared Erlang/OTP runtime, IBM MQ connectors and a phased catalogue for discovery and distribution. Implementation, interoperability and reliability need their own evidence before release claims can be made.
Candidate for evaluation
RabbitMQ Streams to PostgreSQL
A possible second connector will test demand and platform reuse. Its features and delivery are not committed.
No connector download or purchase is offered on this page. Licensing, supported versions, release timing and support terms will need to be defined for each offering.
